Interpersonal effectivity

We use the knowledge and insights from the first 2 modules. Now personal effectivity will be put in the context. You will learn to map your immediate, “close-in”, stakeholders.

You will get practical tools to cope with resistance, conflicts and conflicting interests. You will be taught to use your, sometimes limited, influence in a positive way.

Stakeholders and their interests

Despite that the organization has a common, shared ambition, there is often a possibility of sub-optimization.

Conflict handling and solving

Conflicts can be personal (internal conflicts), other conflicts are related to your environment. In this module we address both. Do you recognize personal conflicts within yourself and within others? Can you deal with them by reacting effectively?

What strategies can you deploy to solve possible conflicting interests?

Scenario management

Every organization has or should have a Mission, a Vision and a Strategy. But the world is constantly changing. How can you prepare yourself on developments which are unpredictable but which will have great impact on you, your department and your organization?

Intervision as a method

Intervision is by far one of the best methods to continuously learn from each other.

Participants will learn to coach each other to cope/deal with daily and universal problems. You will learn how to postpone or delay your judgment and give support by means of “helping-questions” in personal, maybe conflicting, issues.
