During her study Criminal Law and Criminology, Angelica made the switch to Health Care. For many years she worked within the management of a regional police force where she was involved in medical and psychosocial care. She specialized in the treatment of PTSD for police, fire brigade and Health Care Services.
Angelica is co-author and initiator of, among other things, the book “Waakzaam en Dienstbaar” (Vigilant and Servant) on behalf of the Ministry of Domestic Affairs and the National Police, in which the “dark sides” of working "in the frontline" are described and photographed.

In case of very serious incidents, she knows better than anyone how important it is to communicate well at these times. Internal discipline, compassion and clear judgment are principles that are essential to her.
