After his training at the Royal Military Academy, Jean-Pierre has been an operational pilot for 13 years as a fighter pilot (NF-5 / F-16) in the Royal Netherlands Air Force. He was also responsible for the operational deployment of 18 F-16’s in "Operation Deny Flight" in Bosnia-Herzegovina.
As chief-pilot Boeing 747 and captain he was responsible for the safe and operational deployment of the Boeing 747-400 fleet, where he led +/- 130 people. He specializes in "Crucial Decisions in Crisis Management".
He sees training as an essential aspect for effective leadership, especially for teams that have to work in critical circumstances.
