The Coast Guard has embraced Crew Resource Management as a program to realize better cooperation within the teams. The very professional attitude and clear analysis of Jean-Pierre led to a SMART Coast Guard program. The extensive experience of the trainers within the aviation world and the use of flight simulators, mixed with theory, offers an excellent environment to provide CRM tools to the employees in relatively short sessions.

In a pleasant, informal atmosphere, effective use is made of the practical use of these tools. The Coast Guard has been able to establish a good base in two years from which further work can be done on better cooperation and operational management.
